云南少数民族地区高中生英语学习冒险实证研究

摘　　要：应用外语学习冒险理论(Ely,1986,Wen&Johnson,1997),采取实证定量问卷调查方法,对云南某民族中学的少数民族和汉族高中生的冒险观念和行为进行了研究。结果发现,1)英语善学者具有中等冒险精神;2)多数学生已认识到冒险观念在一定程度上有益于英语学习,但他们的行为与观念并不完全一致,因而行动上较少冒险;3)在中等冒险水平之内,冒险与英语水平呈正相关;4)少数民族和汉族高中生、受试男女学生在冒险观念和行为以及英语成绩方面没有显著差异;在冒险观念上,因家庭住址的不同和英语考试成绩等级而存在差异。Applying the risk theory of foreign language learning(Ely,1986,Wen&Johnson,1997)and adopting the method of empirical quantitative questionnaire survey,this paper makes a study on the risk-taking concept and the risk-taking behavior of the ethnic minority high-school students and Han high-school students in an ethnic minority-dominated high school in Yunnan province.The results go as follows:1)the good English learners have a medium-level risk-taking spirit;2)most students have realized that the concept of risk-taking is beneficial to English learning to some extent,but their behavior and concept are not completely consistent,so they take fewer risks in action;3)at the intermediate risk-taking level,risk-taking is positively and significantly correlated with their English level;4)there is no significant difference in the risk-taking concept and the risk-taking behavior between the ethnic minority students and the Han students,between the male and the female students,and between their English achievements.There exist differences among the students in terms of the risk-taking concept due to differences in their home addresses and English test achievements.
