摘　　要：本文从历史和地域的角度深入地观察语言的选择,以及语言的选择怎样影响语言教育。从历史上考察,以先秦和五四前后为例,文章谈论语言选择和语言教育,以及语言的发展问题,进而在全球化的环境下讨论华语文的发展与挑战。从地域上考察,文章讨论语言教语言教育的区域性问题,以及语言教语言教育在多元环境下的发展问题。本文还以新加坡、马来西亚、中国香港地区域中国台湾地区为例,提供不同的语言选择与语言教育的类型,并将这几种类型放在全球化环境下加以讨论。This paper discusses the choice of language and its effect on language education from the perspective of history and geography.From historical angle,we take pre-Qin and the period around the May 4th Movement,to discuss language choice,language education,and language development,then approach Chinese language's growth and challenges in the time of globalization.From geographical perspective,we talk about language and language education's regional feature,along with their development in multi-cultural background.In Singapore,Malaysia,Hong Kong,and Taiwan,for instance,different language choices and language education types are provided,and these types are explored under the environment of globalization.
