摘　　要：建成终身教育的主要平台、在线教育的主要平台、灵活教育的平台、对外合作的平台是教育部对开放大学这种新型高等学校提出的新定位和新要求。面向美好前程,立足现实,差距仍很清楚。尽管如此,开放大学一直在努力实践,坚守开放教育质量,探索个性化智慧学习,实施课程设计、资源建设、教学实施和质量评价一体化改革,提升合作交流的内涵,等等。未来,开放大学仍需加强自我研究,追求持续的改善和办学目标的达成,努力打造智慧学境,实施以课程为单元的学习,探索开放学位制度,更好地回应终身、在线、灵活、开放等新型大学的应然特征,满足广大社会成员对美好生活的向往,进一步彰显开放大学的社会价值。New orientations and requirements of the Open University has been proposed by the Ministry of Education in China,indicating to establish a main platform for lifelong education,for online education,for flexible education and for foreign cooperation.Facing the gap between prospection and current situation,the Open University has been on the way to actively explore approaches in enhancing quality of open education,in exploring of personalized intelligent learning,in pilot implementation of curriculum integration,in enhancing of cooperation and communication,etc.The Open University still aims to strengthening the research and exploration,especially on building intelligent learning environment and improving the implementation of curriculum as learning unit.All of the practice aim to speed up the building of Open University with characteristics of lifelong,online,flexible and open,to meet demands of citizens in pursuing a better life,as well as to further deepen the social value of the Open University.
