摘 要:本文以北京某部属能源高校为例,通过问卷和访谈的方式调查了非英语专业本科生对现行大学英语课程的评价以及英语学习需求。结果发现:学生对于现行大学英语教学效果评价较低,认为课程内容未能满足其英语学习需求;希望大学英语课程继续以通用英语课程为主,以提升其英语技能;建议辅以专门用途英语课程和学术英语课程,增加课程多样性和选择性。根据调查结果,本文尝试构建了"理论课程+实践课程+拓展课程+选修课程"的课程体系,形成了"EGP为主,EAP+ESP为辅"的大学英语课程设置模式,以期满足学生不同的大学英语学习需求。Taking an Energy University in Beijing as an example,this paper investigated the status quo and learning needs of 2962 non-English major students on College English courses by the means of questionnaire survey and interview.Statistics from the questionnaire and interview show that students rated the current College English courses less effectively and believed that the course content failed to meet their English learning needs;students hoped that College English courses would be based on EGP courses to enhance their basic English skills,supplemented by ESP and EAP courses to increase the diversity and selectivity of courses,thus providing different choices of English courses for students with different needs.On this basis,this paper builds an"EGP-based,EAP+ESP-supplemented"College English curricula model,including"Theoretical courses+Practical courses+Extended courses+Elective courses",and discusses these courses in various categories in detail.
