摘  要:从图形背景理论的角度,结合图形背景理论在句法分析中的应用,分析出了《山居秋暝》原诗中的图形与背景关系,并对四个英译本中体现的图形背景关系进行了对比分析,为古诗词翻译分析提供了新的思路。其中,许渊冲的译本与原诗的图形背景最吻合,翻译得最好,杨译与谢译次之,Witter Bynner与原诗的图形背景出入较大。The figure ground theory is derived from psychology’s research on perception.It was first proposed by the Danish psychologist Rubin.From the perspective of figure ground theory,combined with the application of figure-ground theory in syntactic analysis,the original poem of“Shan Ju Qiu Ming”has been analyzed.It also analyzes the relationship between the figure and the background in the four English translations,which provides a new idea for the analysis of ancient poetry translation.Among the four English versions,Xu's translation is the best for it is the most consistent with the figure and background of the original poem,followed by Yang's and Xie's,and Witter Bynner’s translation is quite different from the figure and background of the original poem.
