摘　　要：大学,一直是人才培养、科技创新与文化引领之地。它的兴起带来国家的兴起,它的发展带动文明的发展。在中国改革攻坚之际,大学应如何适应中国改革的新形势并助力于改革,是其面临的重大课题。文章首先阐述了中国改革面临的现状,然后从大学的目的与作用入手,探讨了大学改革应立足于厘清办学思路、强调文化建设和管理方略。University is always the place for talent training,scientific innovation and culture guiding.Prosperous universities will bring prosperous country.Their development boost the civilization process.Now at the cross road of reform here in China,how to deal with the new situation in the reform and how to facilitate the reform is becoming a hot issue for the universities.The paper firstly summarizes the current status of Chinese reform,then discusses the function and purpose of universities and thus suggests that the reform should be based on clarifying the educational ideas,emphasizing the cultural construction and management methods.
