教育家孙贵定生平与著述考

摘　　要：孙贵定是民国时期的教育家。1913年从南洋公学毕业后,孙贵定作为第一批官费生赴英留学,于爱丁堡大学求学九年,并于1922年获得教育专科哲学博士学位。1923年回国后,孙贵定于私立厦门大学任教十四年,为教育学科的发展作出了重要贡献。1937年,孙贵定回到上海,于暨南大学、沪江大学、之江大学等校教授外国文学,并致力于抗战后上海教育的重建。其著述包括现代师范教科书《教育学原理》《伦理学》以及译著《(英文)中国寓言》《服装心理学》等,颇具影响力。Sun Guiding was an educator in the Republic of China.After graduating from Nanyang Public School in 1913,Sun Guiding went to Britain as one of the first batch of government-funded students to study in the University of Edinburgh for nine years and obtained the Doctor of Philosophy in Education in 1922.After returning to China in 1923,He taught in private Xiamen University for 14 years,making great contributions to the development of education.In 1937,Sun Returned to Shanghai and taught foreign literature in Jinan University,Hujiang University,Zhijiang University and other schools.He devoted himself to the reconstruction of education in Shanghai after the Anti-Japanese War,and was unanimously recognized by teachers and students.His works include Principles of Pedagogy,Ethics,and translated Chinese Fables,Psychology of Clothing,etc.,all of which were published by The Commercial Press and reprinted many times with great influence.
