新文科建设背景下大学公共英语教师的角色定位

摘　　要：新文科建设对高等外语教学提出新要求,大学公共英语教学也面临着由应试教育转向内涵式发展、课程思政体系的建设与落实、教师知识结构的重构等方面的挑战。为此,大学英语课程教师的角色定位应为学生成长成才过程中的“引路人”“教练员”和信息技术使用的“先行者”,以更好地满足新时代对复合型人才的培养需求。In the context of the new liberal arts,new requirements are to be established for the English teaching of the higher education in China,with the English courses for non-English majors confronted with a variety of challenges,including the transition from the exam-oriented education to the connotative educational development,the establishment of the system for the curriculum ideological and political courses and its running,the reconstructing of the teachers’knowledge.Therefore,college English teachers should redefine their roles as the“guides”and“instructors”in the nurturing of the students as well as the“pioneers”to utilize the advanced information technology,so as to meet the demands for cultivating interdisciplinary talents who can master English.
