EGP+ESP混合模式应用于大学英语课程教学中的效果评估——-以西北大学为例

摘　　要：国际化人才的培养目标、新生代大学生的实际需求以及信息技术的革新使得大学英语教学从通用英语(EGP)教学转向了专门用途英语(ESP)教学。为了应对这样的转变,西北大学外国语学院从2017学年起展开了EGP+ESP混合授课模式的大学英语教学改革。文章主要介绍了自改革以来该模式在大学英语教学中的开展情况,并针对师生双方的问卷调查对改革的效果进行了评估,同时对改革的进一步深入提出了建议。Thegoal to cultivate talents needed for international businesses and competition,the practical needs of the newgeneration college students and the renovation of information technology call on the transformation of college English teaching from English for General Purposes to English for Specific Purposes.In order to cope with the challenges,the School of Foreign Languages of Northwest University started to carry out the reform of EGP plus ESP teaching mode in its college English instruction since 2017.The article reports the application of the mode and evaluates the effect of the mode by drawing on the results of the questionnaire surveys done on both the students and the teachers.It ends with suggestions on the further implementation of the mode in the reform of college English teaching.
