从外宣翻译看油菜花译名文化认知理据及特征

摘　　要：外宣翻译是新世纪译界的一个热门话题。选取油菜花的英译名为切入点,从英特网中甄选出了真实的语料,分别对"rape flowers"和"cole flowers"建立了小型数据库,用这些真实的语料进行论证分析。研究发现目前外宣网站存在"rape flowers"和"cole flowers"两译名混用的情况,而译名"rape flowers"触碰了欧美人士的文化禁忌,达不到良好的宣传效果。同时分析了译名"cole flowers"在新闻标题中既可作中心语又可作修饰语的搭配特征。The translation of foreign propaganda is a hot topic in translation circles in the new century.The English translation of rapeseed flower was selected as the entry point,and real corpus was selected from the Internet,and small databases were established for"rape flowers"and"cole flowers"respectively,and these real corpora were used for argumentation and analysis.The research found that the current foreign propaganda websites have mixed translations of"rape flowers"and"cole flowers",while the translation of"rape flowers"touched the cultural taboos of Europeans and Americans and failed to achieve good publicity effects.At the same time,it analyzes the collocation characteristics of the translated name"cole flowers"in news headlines as both the headline and the modifier.
