大学英语提高课教材的评价研究——以《通用工程英语听说教程》为例

摘　　要：教材是教学的基本要素,教材质量在很大程度上影响着课程教学目标的实现。通过文本分析和问卷调查法,对大学英语提高课教材《通用工程英语听说教程》(第一版)的编写和使用情况进行研究。从内部评价和外部评价两个角度,分析教材的优点与不足,发现在使用过程中存在的问题,分析原因,探讨对策。为了更好地帮助学生切实提高英语应用能力和实现课程的教学目标,对今后提高课程教材的编撰和修订提出了可行性建议。Textbooks are the basic elements of teaching,and the quality of textbooks largely affects the achievement of the teaching goals.This paper surveys the use of the advanced college English textbook General Engineering English Listening and Speaking among students in Changsha University of Science and Technology and studies the content of the textbook.From the perspective of external evaluation and internal evaluation,it analyses the strengths and weaknesses of the textbook and the problems arising in its use.It finds out the relative reasons and explores some countermeasures.Finally it puts forward some feasible suggestions for improving the compilation of the textbooks in order to make full use of the textbook,help students effectively improve their English competence,as well as better realize the teaching goals of this courses.
