摘 要:科普文阅读教学是高中英语阅读教学的重要领域。运用搭建结构模式、补偿编码模式、潜在语义分析理论等语言教学理论,教师可有效设计科普文阅读教学。教师可以通过恰当处理语言知识、培养语篇结构意识、优先意义理解等教学活动,提高学生的阅读理解能力;借助同主题阅读、暗影阅读等多样化的阅读活动,提高学生的阅读流畅度;通过比较、质疑、评价等阅读活动,培养学生的思维品质。据此,教师可培养高中生的英语阅读素养,同时使得科普文阅读教学成为语言教学理论驱动下的有效的、有目的的教学实践活动。Popular science reading teaching is an important domain in EFL reading instruction in senior high schools.Some relevant theories of language teaching,such as Structure Building Framework,Compensatory Encoding Model,and Latent Semantic Analysis Theory,can be used by teachers to design the teaching of popular science reading.Through teaching activities such as dealing with language knowledge appropriately,enhancing students’discourse pattern awareness,and prioritizing meaning in reading comprehension,teachers can help enhance students’reading comprehension ability.By applying the same-theme-extended reading and using varieties of reading activities,like shadow reading,teachers can increase students’reading fluency.Through reading activities such as comparing,questioning and evaluating,teachers can cultivate students’thinking quality.EFL teachers can thus cultivate senior high students’English reading competencies,while making the teaching of popular science reading become an effective,theory-driven,and purposeful pedagogical activity.
