语料库视角下英文小说的比喻解读与翻译--以伯纳德·马拉默德的小说《店员》为例

摘　　要：英文小说在语言表达与修辞运用方面有其独具的特质,不仅体现了鲜明的语言特色,也传达了多种文化特色。对于英文小说的翻译既要考虑其语言的表达,又要注重其文化传承与传播。从语料库研究的视角对美国著名犹太裔作家伯纳德·马拉默德的小说《店员》汉译本中的修辞,尤其是比喻辞格的汉译进行了研究,通过语料翻译的对比、统计、分析,指出了如何在英文小说翻译中既保留原文的文化特色,又使目标读者理解原文的精髓。English novels have specific features in language expression and application of figures of speech,which shows vivid language characteristics as well as multi-culture specialties.The translation of English novels should take the considerations in the language expression and the importance of the inner cultural inheritance and transmission.This paper studies the figures of speech in the Chinese translation of Malamud′s The Assistant from the perspective of corpus,especially the metaphor of Chinese translation.By the comparison,statistics and analysis on the corpus translation,the author can show how to keep the cultural characteristics of the source text in the target text and how to make target readers understand the essence of the source text.
