摘 要:TED演讲视频短小精炼,富有感染力,内容涵盖科技、教育、文化和思想等各个方面。在大学英语教学中引入TED演讲,有助于学生透过语言文字了解其背后的文化内涵,培养学生的人文素养,符合进一步推进外语专业内涵建设的需要。在具体教学中,教师在选取TED演讲时应结合学生的学习需求和学习兴趣,引导学生正确认识并尊重文化的多样性,并充分考虑学生的水平差异,由浅入深,循序渐进,最终达成培育学生人文素养,帮助其树立正确的人生观、价值观的目的。TED talk videos are short and impactful,covering technology,education,culture,and ideas.The introduction of TED lectures in College English teaching can help students understand the cultural connotations by language,cultivate students’humanistic qualities,and meet the needs of further promoting the connotation construction of foreign language majors.During the teaching process,the teacher should select TED speech and combine the students’interest with their learning needs.Teacher should guide the students to understand and respect the diversity of culture,and fully account of the differences of their proficiency level,step by step,finally to cultivate students’humanistic spirit and help them set up the correct outlook of life and values.
