摘　　要：英语报刊语料新颖、贴近生活、紧扣时代,是课本教学的有益补充。教师可以利用英语报刊阅读教学培养学生的思维品质:分析语篇结构,培养逻辑性思维;总结升华观点,培养创新性思维;提取文本信息,培养批判性思维。As an effective supplement to the English textbooks,English newspapers are often popular among students for their novelty,closeness to life and the times.English teachers can make effective use of English newspapers reading in teaching to improve students'thinking quality:analyzing discourse structure to cultivate logical thinking;summarizing and sublimating ideas to cultivate innovative thinking;extracting text information to cultivate critical thinking.
