目的语读者视角下《红楼梦》婚俗语言的翻译策略研究--基于霍克斯和杨宪益译本

摘　　要：目的语读者接受理论倡导从目的语读者的角度去评价翻译效果,该理论对推动中华文化对外传播具有启发和指导意义。文章从目的语读者的角度探讨了《红楼梦》中婚俗语言的翻译,通过分析霍克斯和杨宪益译文的优劣得失,提出了目的语读者接受理论视域下《红楼梦》翻译应采取的策略。The Acceptance Theory advocates evaluating the translation effect from the perspective of the target-reader.This theory has enlightening and guiding significance for promoting the external communication of Chinese culture.Focusing on the translations of the marriage-custom idioms in A Dream of Red Mansions and The Story of the Stone and analyzing the merits and demerits of Yang’s and Hawkes’different translations,this paper puts forward the strategies that should be adopted in the translation of A Dream of Red Mansions from the perspective of target language reader acceptance theory.
