摘　　要：鲁迅先生的杂文具有非同寻常的社会历史意义,它们见解深刻,鞭促时代,为中国社会的向前发展提供指南,其英译状况非常值得深入研究。本文对杨宪益、戴乃迭与卜立德的3部译著中的鲁迅杂文英译进行对比研究,分析各译本特点,考察它们在译本长度、选篇、译文翻译、整体格式等方面的特点,并剖梳其背后的制约机制,希望为鲁迅杂文的英译提供参考。Featuring biting criticisms and sarcasms as well as profound insights,the essays by Lu Xun bear great social and historical significance,spurring the Chinese society to change for the better,so their translation deserves examining.This paper compares the three translated versions of essays by Lu Xun,analyses their respective characteristics in length,selection of source texts,translation proper,and the overall format,and also probes into the constraints behind,in the hope of offering references for the future translation of Lu Xun’s essays.
