摘 要:《诗经》中隐喻素材丰富多彩、寓意深刻。由于中日两国文化及文学传统的差异,隐喻意象难以在译文中全面映现。从隐喻认知理论的视角出发,对目加田诚《诗经》日译本的隐喻翻译进行论述和分类,总结归纳出隐喻翻译的四种类型:移植喻体意象、为喻体意象加注释、寻求相应的喻体意象、以及舍弃喻体意象。在此基础上进一步探讨隐喻意象在译本中的跨域映射、译者的隐喻翻译策略及特点。The metaphors in The Book of Songs are rich with profound implication.However,because of the differences in cultural and literary traditions between China and Japan,metaphorical images are difficult to fully reflect.Based on the cognitive theory of metaphor,this paper focuses on the metaphor translation of the Japanese version of The Book of Songs by Makoto Mekada.With discussion and classificationof its metaphorical images,it summarizes the four metaphor translation strategies as follows:transplanting,annotating,seeking and abandoning metaphorical images.On this basis,the cross-domain mapping of metaphorical images in the translation and the translator’s metaphorical translation strategies and characteristics are further discussed.
