摘　　要：高校继续教育积极主动参与当地社会发展,对我国成年国民综合素质提升作出了卓越贡献。在市场经济大潮的冲击下,高校继续教育的发展也出现了许多误区,甚至偏离了教育的初心,亟须重新定位继续教育的价值,重塑高校继续教育的使命,以期在建设新时代中国特色社会主义进程中,为我国从人力资源大国走向人力资源强国肩负起应尽的历史责任。Adult education in colleges actively participates in local social development,and makes outstanding contributions to the improvement of comprehensive vocational qualities of adults in China.Impacted by the market economy,there are misunderstandings in the development of adult education and even deviation from the essence of education.It’s necessary to redefine the value and reshape the missions of adult education in colleges so as to shoulder responsibilities in the new era for China to change from a great nation of human resources into a powerful nation of human resources.
