词汇自由联想测试构念效度的初步探究

摘　　要：词汇自由联想测试作为一种产出性词汇测试,具有评分便捷、考生容易上手等优点,在二语习得领域有着广泛的应用。然而,在缺乏构念效度证据的前提下,目前的词汇自由联想测试常常被用作测量学生词汇量的工具,这显然值得商榷。本研究以43名汉语留学生为对象,利用有声思维工具初步探讨了词汇自由联想测试的构念效度。研究发现:(1)词汇自由联想测试所衡量的是学生的词汇深度知识;(2)相比于回想,学生更关注词汇在不同语境下的使用。本研究有助于深化对词汇自由联想测试的认识,对其后续的开发有一定的参考价值。As a productive vocabulary test,the word association task is widely used to assess test takers’vocabulary size due to its easiness of scoring and administration.However,most studies related to the word association task lack construct validation evidence,which seems to be problematic.This study aims to fill this gap by inviting 43 foreign learners of Chinese to report their test-taking strategies.The findings show that:(1)the word association task did assess test takers’productive knowledge of vocabulary depth,(2)test takers seemed to pay more attention to use than recall.
