摘 要:《匆匆》是我国著名现代散文家、诗人朱自清先生脍炙人口的一篇散文作品,文章结构精巧,纯朴简练,文字清秀隽永,充满诗意,具有很高的文学价值与美学价值。然而对于其译本和翻译策略的研究却并不多见,张培基先生的译本很好地向英语读者传递了原文的美学价值,结合直译与意译的翻译方法,使译文充分符合译文读者的期待视野与审美接受。通过以张培基先生对《匆匆》的英文译本为研究对象,从接受美学的视角分析了“期待视野”“视野融合”以及“未定点”三个接受美学的核心概念在散文翻译中的适用性,同时探讨了张培基先生在散文英译中所采用的翻译策略和原则。Transient Days,one of the most popular prose of Zhu Ziqing,a famous modern essayist and poet in China,is exquisitely structured with concise and poetic expressions,which is of high literary and aesthetic value.However,there are few studies aimed at its translation versions or translation strategies.Zhang Peiji’s translation exactly conveys the aesthetic value of the original text to English readers and conforms to the horizon of expectations and aesthetic reception of the target readers by virtue of combining literal translation and free translation.Therefore,this paper studies Zhang Peiji’s translation from the perspective of reception aesthetics,and analyzes the application of the three core concepts of“horizon of expectations”“fusion of horizons”and“indeterminacy”in prose translation with specific examples excerpted from Transient Days,and discusses specific translation principles and strategies in the translation.
