摘 要:人类的知识是如何获得的,抽象符号为何有了意义,适应性表征可能是揭示这些问题秘密的内在机制和合理解释方式。适应性表征是将认知活动看作在特定情境或语境中通过某种中介客体与其目标客体相互作用的思维过程,这一过程是通过语境投射机制完成的,即认知主体将中介客体携带的语境投射到目标客体上使其负载了语义,从而获得知识。本质上,这是一个认知表征的语境化过程,具有本体性、结构性、根隐喻性、工具性和多样性特征,表现出建构意义、显现关系、呈现结构、展示图景、形成科学知识体系的功能。How human knowledge are acquired,and why abstract symbols have their meanings,adaptive representation is a reasonable way to answer these questions.Adaptive representation is the process of thinking that cognitive activities interact with their target objects through certain intermediary objects in a specific context.This process is accomplished through a context-projection mechanism,that is,the cognitive agent projects the context carried by the intermediary object onto the target object to have its meanings,thus acquiring knowledge.In essence,it is a contextualized process of cognitive representation,which has the characteristics of ontology,structure,root metaphor,instrumentality and diversity,and shows the function of constructing meaning,showing relationship,presenting structure,displaying picture and forming scientific knowledge system.
