摘 要:目的 探讨ARCS动机模式在“高级医学研究英语实践”教学中的应用效果。方法 选取2020级,2021级西安交通大学医学部“高级医学研究英语实践”班的硕士研究生为研究对象。2020级硕士研究生45名,作为对照组,采用传统的讲授模式;2021级硕士研究生50名,作为实验组,采用ARCS动机模式的授课方式。通过汇总平时成绩及调查问卷对两种教学模式进行教学效果评价。结果 实验组在“文献汇报”“海报制作”“论文报告”“论文撰写”及“总分”方面均显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。通过问卷调查发现,实验组在“学习本课程的兴趣”“本课程和自身相关性”“学习本课程的信心”及“学习本课程的满意度”方面均显著优于对照组(P<0.05)。结论 ARCS动机模式在“高级医学研究英语实践”教学中效果显著,该教学模式也为提高高等医学院校医学英语教学质量提供了有益参考。Objective To explore the application effect of ARCS motivation model in the course of“Advanced Medical Research Initiation”.Methods The postgraduate students of this course in the medical department of Xi'an Jiaotong University in the classes of 2020 and 2021 were selected as the research subjects.45 students from the class of 2020 were enrolled as the control group,while 50 students in class of 2021 were enrolled as the experimental group.ARCS motivation model was applied in the experimental group while the traditional teaching model was applied in the control group.The teaching effectiveness of the two methods were evaluated by summarizing the usual results and questionnaire.Results The experimental group were higher than the control group in literature report,poster,paper presentation,paper writing and the final scores,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Through the questionnaire survey,we found that the experimental group were better than the control group in terms of“interest in learning this course”,“relevance of this course to themselves”,“confidence in learning this course”,“satisfaction in learning this course”and the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The teaching method based on the ARCS motivation model is highly effective in“Advanced Medical English Research”,which provides a beneficial reference for improving the quality of medical English teaching in medical colleges and universities.
