摘　　要：西方文学思潮研究是一个有待拓展与深化的重要学术领域。以19世纪为例,西方文学思潮的生成、发展与流变呈国际性范式,正是这种国际性文学思潮的出现与传播,使得文学研究的跨文化比较意识被激活,比较文学应运而生。自然科学是19世纪西方文学思潮生成与演变的重要因素;科学与文学思潮之关系的研究,是西方文学思潮跨学科研究的一个重要途径。浪漫派在主张“反科学”的同时,又从自然科学中汲取艺术灵感,浪漫主义也像现实主义一样是自然科学在19世纪结出的重要文学果实。外国文学学科体系建设离不开文学思潮的研究,而跨文化、跨学科研究是拓展与深化西方文学思潮研究的两个重要维度,在这个意义上,文学思潮研究本身就属于比较文学范畴。The study of Western literary trends is an important academic field that needs to be expanded and deepened. Taking the 19 th century as an example, the generation, development and evolution of Western literary trends took on an international paradigm. The emergence and spread of this international trend activated the cross-cultural comparative awareness of literary studies, and comparative literature came into being. Natural science is an important factor in the formation and evolution of western literary trends in the 19 th century;the study of the relationship between science and literary trends is an important way of interdisciplinary research on western literary trends. While the Romantics advocated “anti-science”, they also drew artistic inspiration from natural sciences. The construction of foreign literature discipline system is inseparable from the study of literary trends, and cross-cultural and interdisciplinary research is two important dimensions to expand and deepen the study of Western literary trends. In this sense, the study of literary trends itself belongs to the category of comparative literature.
