摘 要:广西高校校训翻译存在研究甚少,译文缺失,译入语单一的问题。文章通过对比广西高校校训、西方国家大学校训及东盟国家大学校训泊特点,基于广西的实际情况,从翻译目的论视角提出以下观点:广西高校校训以对外树立品牌形象为目的进行英译,采用异化为主的翻译策略;以宣传招生为目的翻译成东盟国家语言,采用归化为主的翻译策略。There are few studies on the translation of college motto in Guangxi,such as the lack of translation and the single target language.By comparing the characteristics of the university motto of Guangxi,the university motto of western countries and the university motto of ASEAN countries,and based on the actual situation of Guangxi,this paper puts forward the following views from the perspective of translation teleology:the university motto of Guangxi is translated into English for the purpose of establishing a brand image,and adopts the translation strategy of differentiation;it is translated into the languages of ASEAN countries for the purpose of publicity and enrollment,and adopts the translation strategy of domestication.
