摘 要:商务英语属于专业用途英语,课程教学应当体现市场导向与专业特点,做到以学生需求为中心。采用问卷调查和访谈相结合方法,对高职商务英语翻译教学特点、与教学需求不符等存在问题、高职商务英语翻译学习者对课程教学需求进行分析。对非商务英语专业的商科学生和商务英语专业学生专业需求分析结果发现,不同专业学生在商务英语翻译学习方面的学习需求显著差异。商务英语翻译课程应从学习需求分析出发,结合课程教学特点探讨教学改进方向,提出从专门用途英语教学理念出发,设计教学内容、优化课程设计等角度进行商务英语翻译教学的策略。Business English as a kind of ESP,the course teaching should reflect market demand and professional feature,and take students’needs as the center.A questionnaire survey and interview were conducted upon Business English Translation courses to investigate the features,needs-supply gaps,and learners’needs for the course teaching.It was found that significant difference exists in the learning needs for Business English Translation between Non-Business English Majors of Business profession and Business English Majors.The Business English Translation course should start with learners’needs and take course features into account in the teaching reform.It was proposed that ESP philosophy should be taken as the starting point of teaching content design and course optimization.
