摘  要:伴随着我国高等职业教育的深化改革,英语教学在培养社会所需人才方面发挥着重要作用。为提升英语教学的效率和质量,将认知心理学理论应用其中,可以转变传统教学理念、模式与方法,促进学生完成语言认知学习的过程。因此,在明确认知心理学理论和应用原则的基础上,提出激发学生学习动机、构建完善认知结构、注重学生个体差异、获取学生认知反馈等应用策略,以期提升我国高职学生的英语语言应用能力和综合素质。With the deepening reform of higher vocational education in China, English teaching has played an important role in cultivating talents needed by society. In order to improve the efficiency and quality of English teaching, the application of cognitive psychology theory can change the traditional teaching concepts, models and methods, and promote students to complete the process of language cognitive learning. Therefore, this paper proposes some application strategies such as stimulating students’ learning motivation, constructing and improving cognitive structure, focusing on individual differences of students and obtaining cognitive feedback from students, so as to improve English language application ability and comprehensive quality of higher vocational students on the basis of clarifying the theory and application principles of cognitive psychology in China.
