论以翻译补偿实现散文翻译“三美”--以《白马湖之冬》为例

摘　　要：中国翻译大家许渊冲先生提出了“三美论”,强调翻译的译作应该体现出原稿意、音、形上的三美。但因中英文化差异,翻译中“三美”的实现需要根据原稿的内涵、逻辑、美学等作出翻译补偿。该文以《白马湖之冬》为例,选取著名翻译家张培基先生的译文,探索译者是如何通过翻译补偿更好地展示翻译“三美”,并为散文初译者提供有益的分享和借鉴。同时,通过中国文学的对外译介,展示人们的精神世界及其丰富的娱乐生活,进而传播中国声音、展示中国文化。Xu Yuanchong,a famous Chinese translator,put forward the Three Beauties,emphasizing that the translated works should reflect the three beauties of the original:the meaning,the sound and the form.But given the cultural differences between Chinese and English,the realization of the three beauties in translation needs translation compensation for its connotation,logic,aesthetics,etc.This paper takes The Winter of White Horse Lake as an example,selects the translation of Zhang Peiji,a famous translator,and explores how the translator can better demonstrate the three beauties of translation through translation compensation.This exploration provides useful information for the insufficiently experienced translator of prose.At the same time,translation of Chinese literature shows people's spiritual world and their rich entertainment,and then spreads Chinese voices and displays Chinese culture.
