摘 要:正确理解语文教育的功能是全面认识语文教育的地位、作用和价值的前提,它的定位直接影响着语文课程性质的确立,进而决定着语文课程观念、内容和实施。百年来,语文教育功能经历了从“为生活”的实用工具观到革命语境下的工具观再到学科本位的育人观的演进过程,其特征在于:在由单一型向复合型发展的同时受制于二元框架思维的局限;在处理传统经验和借鉴国外之间不断寻求符合学科规律的功能定位;在现代化追求中与社会现代化、语文现代化同频共振、相互作用;在落地实践的过程中不断厘清语文教育功能的边界与核心。新时代的语文教育要坚持走中国特色语文教育现代化之路,把“立德树人”的根本任务落到实处,深度挖掘语文课程的育人功能,具体表现为:坚守语文教育的生命价值取向,促进“知识与人相遇”;进一步加强学科化探索,提升学生的语文核心素养;不断满足社会发展和学习者的需要,培养时代新人。The correct understanding of the function of Chinese language education is a precondition for the comprehensive understanding of the status, function and value of Chinese language education. Its positioning directly affects the establishment of the nature of Chinese language curriculum, and then determines the concept, content and implementation of the curriculum. Over the past hundred years, the function of Chinese language education has undergone an evolutionary process from the practical and instrumental view of “for life” to the instrumental view in the revolutionary context and then to the discipline-based view of educating people. It is characterized by being subject to the limitation of binary framework thinking while developing from a monolithic to compound one, the constant search for the functional position in accordance with the discipline law between dealing with traditional experience and learning from foreign countries, and resonating and interacting with social modernization and Chinese modernization in the pursuit of modernization to continually clarify the boundary and core of the function of Chinese language education in the process of practice. Chinese language education in the new era should uphold the road to modernizing Chinese language education with Chinese characteristics, put the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education into practice and deeply explore the educational function of Chinese language curriculum. Specifically, it is advisable to stay committed to the life value orientation of Chinese education to promoting the encounter between knowledge and people, further strengthen the subject-oriented exploration to improve students’ Chinese language core competencies, and to constantly meet the needs of social development and learners to foster a new generation of the times.
