摘　　要：将我国优秀的传统文化融入大学英语教学中,不仅可以培养学生的英语语言运用能力,还能让学生更加了解我国优秀传统文化,增强文化自信,在文化交际过程中,担负起文化传播的重任。由于大学英语教学中过于重视英美文化,导致中国优秀传统文化缺失。因此,需要认识到我国优秀传统文化融入大学英语教学的意义,提高英语教师的文化素养、均衡教材里中西方文化内容的比重、丰富课堂教学方法、开展丰富多彩的课外活动,让我国优秀传统文化更好地融入大学英语教学过程中,培养学生的文化素养。Integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture into College English teaching can not only cultivate students’ ability to use English language, but also make students understand Chinese excellent traditional culture better,enhance their cultural confidence, and take on the important task of cultural communication in the process of cultural communication. Due to too much emphasis on British and American culture in College English teaching, Chinese excellent traditional culture is missing. Therefore, we need to realize the significance of integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture into College English teaching, improve English teachers’ cultural literacy, balance the proportion of Chinese and Western cultural content in textbooks, enrich classroom teaching methods, and carry out rich and colorful extracurricular activities, so as to better integrate Chinese excellent traditional culture into College English teaching and cultivate students’ cultural literacy.
