摘  要:伴随经济全球化和“一带一路”进程的不断加速,精通英语和专业扎实的高素质技术技能型人才备受青睐。作为人才培养的重要力量,高职院校英语教师的专业能力提升至关重要。分析高职院校英语教师专业能力提升的必要性、存在的问题及其原因,从学校层面和教师层面提出高职院校英语教师专业能力提升的有效路径,具有十分重要的意义。With the acceleration of economic globalization and the progress of the “Belt and Road”,quality technical and skilled talents with proficient English and solid professional skills are in high demands. As an important force in talent training, the professional competency of English teachers in higher vocational schools is of critical significance. In the paper below, an analysis was made of the necessity to improve these teachers as well as existing problems and causes in the process. On this basis, some effective pathways were proposed from the perspectives of schools and teachers themselves.
