摘　　要：加强大学生爱国主义教育是高校落实立德树人根本任务的现实之需。大学英语教学不仅要培养精通英语的各类专业的国际化人才,更要厚植大学生的爱国情怀。要将英语学习的目的教育与爱国主义教育结合起来,以文化熏陶潜移默化滋润大学生爱国主义情怀,以生动鲜活的实践涵养大学生强国之志,以情感教育培养大学生民族自信心、自豪感,用新时代中国故事引领大学生报国之行。Strengthening the Patriotic Education of college students is the realistic need to carry out the basic task of cultivating moral character.College English teaching should not only train international talents who are proficient in English,but also cultivate the patriotism of college students.We should combine the education for the purpose of learning English with the education of patriotism,nurture the patriotic feelings of the college students through cultural edification,cultivate their will to strengthen the country through vivid practice,develop the National selfconfidence and pride of college students through emotional education,and guide college students’behavior to serve the country with the story of China in the new era.
