摘 要:基于一所普通高校220名高考英语有听力考试和无听力考试(包括听力分数不计入总成绩)学生的高考英语成绩、大学英语四级成绩和听力成绩的相关分析和个别访谈,本文探析了高考英语不考听力对大学生英语学习及其效果的影响。研究发现,两组学生的高考英语成绩无显著性差异,而两年后大学英语基础阶段结束时的大学英语四级成绩及其听力成绩均有显著性差异,且有听力考试组均高于无听力考试组。研究建议,加强大学英语教学“补救”,有效衔接高中英语教学;调整高考英语听力考试政策,探索有效的考试方式;进一步深化高考英语测试改革,全面考查学生的英语综合运用能力。Through the score analysis of the CET4 and its subtest of listening of 220 students with and without listening test in the National Matriculation English Test(NMET),this study explores the washback effect of NMET without listening test on students’college English learning.It is found that there is no statistically significant difference in scores of NMET between the two groups of students,but there is a significant difference in their CET4 scores and scores of listening test two years later,and the scores of students with listening test in the NMET are higher than those of students without listening test.The research suggests that the following measures be adopted:implementing remedial teaching in college English instruction to effectively connect college English teaching with high school English teaching;unifying listening test of the NMET by changing the current policy of the listening test of NMET;and comprehensively examining students’English comprehensive ability by deepening the reform of NMET.
