摘 要:以学生为主的英语课堂活动设计工作是充分运用课堂活动的趣味性以及形式的新颖性,在尊重学生主体性的基础上,充分调动学生学习的积极性与主动性,提升学生对课堂教学内容的注意力,促进学生英语学习质量提升的有效手段。我国部分高职院校英语教师在专业素养以及教学能力上还存在一定的欠缺,同时部分高职院校学生对英语课堂活动的配合不足,导致以学生为主的英语课堂活动作用没有得到充分发挥;部分高职院校自身的英语课程评价机制不完善也是影响实际教学效果的重要因素。所以在今后英语课堂活动设计工作开展过程中,高职院校要进一步优化本校的教师培训机制,完善英语课程评价机制,同时还要进一步提升学生对英语课堂活动的兴趣,促进学生课堂学习质量得以提升。The design of student-centered English classroom activities is to make full use of the interest of classroom activities and the novelty of the form, on the basis of respecting the subjectivity of students, fully mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of students in learning, and improve students’ understanding of classroom teaching. Content attention is an effective means to promote the quality of students’ English learning. English teachers in some higher vocational colleges in our country still have certain deficiencies in professional quality and teaching ability. At the same time, some higher vocational college students do not cooperate enough with English classroom activities, resulting in that the role of student-centered English classroom activities has not been brought into full play. The imperfect evaluation mechanism of English courses in some higher vocational colleges is also an important factor affecting the actual teaching effect. Therefore, in the process of designing English classroom activities in the future, higher vocational colleges should further optimize their teacher training mechanism, improve the English course evaluation mechanism, and at the same time further enhance students’ interest in English classroom activities and further promote the quality of students’ classroom learning.
