摘　　要：翻译是一项跨文化的社会性实践活动,一项翻译任务可能需要多个参与者和机构长时间合作才能完成。为了全面、直观地考察翻译活动,文章结合布迪厄和拉图尔社会学理论中的“惯习”“资本”“行动者”和“网络”等概念构建出《红楼梦》霍克斯译本的翻译网络,认为译者惯习的形成过程也是资本积累的过程,译者在翻译活动中完成了各种资本形式的相互转换。Translation is a cross-cultural and social practice, and a translation task may require a long time of cooperation between multiple participants and institutions. For a more comprehensive examination of translation activities, this paper incorporates the sociology concepts of “habit”, “capital”, “actors” and “network” in the study of David Hawkes’ translation of A Dream of Red Mansions to build a translation network and holds that the formation process of the translator’s habit is also the process of capital accumulation, and that the translator has completed the conversion of various capital forms in the translation activity.
