摘　　要：《夜色温柔》是美国作家F·斯科特·菲茨杰拉德的一部长篇小说,文中使用大量对话来塑造人物形象,因此本书翻译的一大亮点在于人物对话翻译。文章以《夜色温柔》贾文浩、贾文渊汉译本为例,基于接受美学理论,分析书中三个主要人物——迪克、尼科尔、麦克基斯科的性格特点,从词汇、句法、文化层面总结译者翻译策略,探讨这些人物形象的有效传递程度。Tender is the Night is a novel written by the American writer Francis Scott Key,in which a large number of dialogues are used to create characters,so one of the highlights of its translation is the translation of the dialogues.Based on the theory of reception aesthetic,taking the Chinese versions of Tender is the Night by Jia Wenhao and Jia Wenyuan as examples,the paper analyzes the characteristics of the three main characters in the novel——Dick,Nicole,and McKisco,and summaries the translation strategies from the lexical,syntactic,and cultural levels to explore the effective transmission of these characters.
