藏医术语英译规范研究

摘　　要：藏医术语英译规范是藏医国际传播的重要途径之一。藏医英译文献不规范问题由来已久,亟需改变。藏医英译宜采用“忠实回译原则”和“整体系统推介”原则,在具体翻译上可采用套译法、音译加注或“Tibetan+专有名词”等翻译方法。藏医术语英译规范应由相关部门积极组织精通英文的藏医专家、藏医文献研究者,厘定藏医术语,统一藏医英译,制定藏医术语英译的原则、方法和翻译标准,更好地实现藏医文化的国际传播。Accurate and standardized English translation of Tibetan medicine terminologies is an important way to publicize Tibetan medical culture on the international arena. The problem of non-standard English translation of Tibetan medical literature has a long history and needs to be changed urgently. This paper provides two ways English translation principles for Tibetan medical terminologies,they are “faithful and back-translation principle and systematic publicity principle”. Methods such as borrowing,transliteration plus explanation,and Tibetan plus proper names are put forward and relevant examples are provided. What is more, the Tibet medical English translation standard should set out by Tibetan medicine experts who mastered good English skills,Tibetan medicine literature researchers and Tibetology translators at home and abroad under the leadership of relevant government organizations to better publicize Tibetan medicine and its culture internationally.
