摘  要:轮机英语是轮机工程技术专业学生参加海船船员适任证书考试的核心课程之一,是海船轮机员职业晋升的瓶颈科目。运用对比教学法可以有效提高轮机英语课堂的教学效率,为提高在校学生考证通过率、实现职业可持续发展奠定良好基础。Marine Engineering English is one of the core courses for marine engineering students to take the competency certificate examination for seamen,and it is a bottleneck subject for career advancement of marine engineers. At present, the passing rate of competency certificate examination for students of maritime colleges and universities is relatively low. How to improve the passing rate of students’ courses is a problem that every frontline teacher must face. Based on the teaching experience of many years, the author thinks that the comparative teaching method can effectively improve the teaching efficiency of Marine Engineering English, and lay a good foundation for the students to overcome the difficulties of competency examination, achieve career sustainability.
