摘　　要：To the Editor:Multiple myeloma(MM),the second most common hematological malignancy,is caused by clonal proliferation of plasma cells and presents characteristics including anemia,bone pain,renal insufficiency,and hypercalcemia.The adhesion of myeloma cells to the bone marrow(BM)microenvironment results in the mainly intramedullary involvement of MM,and sometimes,however,plasma cells can disseminate and infiltrate into extramedullary(EM)sites.
