摘 要:英国议会制辩论,由英国议会程序演变而来,正反方的名字源于英国议会中的政府与反对党,是世界上被广泛采纳的主要辩论形式之一。当前中国大学生在阐述观点时,往往缺乏独到性、针对性、全面性及建设性。该文拟通过研究英国议会制辩论(以下简称英辩),帮助学生拓宽知识面,获得丰富的多元文化知识,并建立跨文化交际知识框架。在多元文化背景下,培养跨文化能力需要知识、动机和技能的3者结合,而英辩为跨文化能力的提高提供了有效平台。因此,为了更清晰地阐述英辩与跨文化能力的联系,该文对跨文化能力进行简要勾勒,通过英辩以赛促学,以期培养中国学生开放包容的世界胸怀。British Parliamentary debate, evolved from the British parliamentary procedure, the name of the pros and cons is derived from the government and opposition parties in the British Parliament, and is one of the most widely adopted forms of debate in the world. At present, when Chinese college students expound their views, they often lack originality, pertinence, comprehensiveness and constructiveness. The paper aims to help students broaden their knowledge, acquire a wealth of multicultural knowledge and establish a framework for intercultural communication by studying British parliamentary debate. In a multicultural context, the development of intercultural competence requires a combination of knowledge, motivation and skills, and the BP debate provides an effective platform for the improvement of intercultural competence. Therefore, in order to more clearly explain the relationship between the BP debate and intercultural competence, this paper briefly outlines intercultural competence and promotes learning through the BP debate, in order to cultivate an open and inclusive mind among Chinese students.
