留学生《数值分析》英文课程教学改革的实践与探究

摘  要:《数值分析》课程作为理工科专业留学生重要的公共基础课程,对其后续专业课程的学习和科研能力的提升起着至关重要的作用。为提升留学生《数值分析》课程的教学质量、实现“双一流”高校留学生专业人才培养目标,积极开展留学生《数值分析》全英文课程的建设与改革势在必行。本文基于近年来中南大学来华留学生《数值分析》全英文课程的建设与实践经验,对留学生《数值分析》课程的课程特点、内容设置和教学方法进行探讨,总结归纳了若干留学生《数值分析》全英文课程的建设方案和改革措施,为全面提高理工科留学生专业人才培养质量提供了科学有效的参考。As one of the public fundamental course for international students majored in science and engineering,Numerical Analysis plays an important role in study of the follow-up specialized courses and enhancing research capability.In order to enhance the educational quality of Numerical Analysis,and achieve the goal of talents cultivation for international students in“Double Tops”universities,it is imperative to carry out the construction and reform in all-English course of Numerical Analysis.In this paper,researches and discussions are presented on course characteristics,course offered and teaching methods for Numerical Analysis,based on the experiences of construction and practices for international students in Central South University.Thereafter,schemes for construction and reform in all-English course for Numerical Analysis are summarized.It will provide that the scientific and valid reference on the enhancement of the quality of professional talents cultivation for international students majored in science and engineering in the future.
