摘  要:目前,高职英语教育在培养学生语言技能和跨文化交际能力过程中,出现中华优秀传统文化缺失的现象。教师传统文化素养不足、教材中传统文化元素缺乏、大课堂教学模式是出现这一现象的原因。发挥高职英语教育“育人”功能和提升学生跨文化交际能力,内在要求中华优秀传统文化融入,需要加强高职英语教师师资建设,需要挖掘和整合教材中中华优秀传统文化元素,需要拓展丰富的课外延伸活动。Currently,there is a lack of Chinese excellent traditional culture in the process of cultivating students'language skills and cross-cultural communication abilities in higher vocational English education.The lack of traditional cultural literacy among teachers,the lack of traditional cultural elements in textbooks,and the large classroom teaching model are the reasons for this phenomenon.Chinese excellent traditional culture serves as a value guide for the"nurturing"function of vocational English education,a source of cultural confidence for students,and a necessity for inheriting and promoting the Chinese excellent traditional culture.To leverage the"educational"function of vocational English education and enhance students'cross-cultural communication abilities,it is necessary to integrate Chinese excellent traditional culture,strengthen the construction of vocational English teachers,explore and integrate elements of Chinese excellent traditional culture in textbooks,and expand rich extracurricular activities.
