转喻认知与埃及鲁班工坊汉英翻译的语言经济性

摘　　要：埃及鲁班工坊的汉英翻译作为一种特殊的跨文化交际行为,其英语译文需具有高度的语言经济性才可减少埃及受众的理解与认知负担,而转喻所特有的心智加工方式和功能则可使译者以准确、凝练的语言来表达复杂的概念知识网络。通过分析转喻的身体认知基础发现,转喻是人类神经系统的模仿与再现过程中所伴生的认知机制,普遍存在于人类的身体认知、语言以及交际行为中。工坊汉英翻译的转喻认知路径既有助于译者实现译文的交际功能,又可避免信息冗余现象。As a special intercultural communication behavior,the C-E translation for Egypt Luban Workshop needs to be economic to reduce the understanding and cognitive burden of Egyptian receptors,while metonymy can just help translators convey complex concepts and knowledge networks with accurate but concise expressions because of its unique mental processing mode and functions.Through analysing its embodied cognitive basis,metonymy is proved to be a cognitive mechanism associated with the imitation and reproduction of human neural system;it is ubiquitous in human embodied cognition,language and communication.The metonymic approach to the C-E translation for Egypt Luban Workshop can help to realise the communicative function of translation and avoid redundancy.
