摘　　要：“普通化学”是理工科大多数专业所必修的一门基础课程,而无论是课程建设,还是人才培养,都需要有高质量的教材做支撑。同济大学无机及普通化学教学科研团队几十年来对“普通化学”教材经过多版本、多形式、多维度的系统建设,使之推到《普通化学》(第二版)的新高度。这套教材的系统建设成果主要体现在如下三个方面:1)针对不同人才培养模式的工科普通化学课程,系统建设了满足不同人才培养层次的知识结构教材体系,并布局了符合新工科要求的教材知识点;2)建立了与基础扎实且视野广阔的高素质人才培养目标相适应的教材体系;3)构建了紧跟时代发展步伐的动态更新机制。基于该教材建设体系的组织思路,能将基础知识、拓展知识和化学前沿讲座有机结合交融,体现了知识的先进性、交叉性和综合性的特色。总而言之,同济大学的《普通化学》(第二版)经过教材的系统建设,既符合当今学科交叉的时代特色,又适应了新工科人才培养的要求。“General chemistry”is a required basic course for the most majors of science and engineering.High-quality teaching materials are required for curriculum construction and talent cultivation.In recent decades,the inorganic and general chemistry teaching and research team at Tongji University has systematically constructed the teaching material of general chemistry textbooks in multiple versions,forms and dimensions,and thus reaching to a new level of General Chemistry(2nd edition).Achievements of system construction of this textbook are mainly reflected in the following aspects:1)the knowledge structure meeting different levels is systematically constructed to meet the need of different talent-cultivation modes,and the knowledge points match the requirements of emerging engineering education are laid out;2)a teaching material system has been established for adapting to the training goal of high-quality talents with a solid foundation and a broad vision;3)a dynamic updating mode has been built timely.The textbook embodies the advanced nature,intersections and comprehensiveness of knowledge.Overall,General Chemistry(2nd edition)after the system construction not only conforms to the interdisciplinary characteristics,but also adapts to the requirements of the talent-training for emerging engineering education.
