农林院校大学生英语测试对学习动机的反拨效应研究

摘　　要：本文采用问卷和访谈形式,对农林院校大学生英语测试对学习动机的反拨效应展开调查。通过SPSS软件分析农林院校大学生英语学习动机与英语测试之间的相关关系,得出以下结论:在众多影响因素中,农林院校大学生英语学习动机的强弱与考试高度相关;学生英语学习兴趣程度与已通过的大学英语等级考试呈显著正相关,且学生通过的英语考试难度越大,对英语学习的兴趣程度越高,学习动机越强;研究中还发现学生对英语的学习兴趣甚至和学生对本专业学习动机也呈正相关关系:多数情况下,大学生英语测试成绩越好,对英语的学习兴趣越高,对于本专业学习的动机也越强。通过以上结论,笔者对现有农林院校大学英语教育提出三点思考。Through survey based self-report and interview,this paper studies the washback effect of English language Tests on students’learning motives in agriculture-related schools and majors.Using SPSS software to analyze the correlation between tests and learning motives among agricultural majors,we concludes that along with all influencing factors,students’learning motives are closely related with tests among agricultural schools and majors;students’learning interests have a significant positive correlation with College English Tests they have passed,which means the higher-level tests they have passed,the stronger their learning motives are not only for English,but also for other courses.Based on such findings,we propose three ways to improve college English educations,which will motivate students in further learning.
