翻译目的论视角下浅析严复《天演论·译例言》汉英翻译

摘　　要：文章在翻译目的论(Skopos theory)的视角下,结合英汉语言对比浅析严复《天演论·译例言》的汉英翻译中的源语目标语之间的转换。文章主要先对《天演论·译例言》的翻译难点进行剖析,再以严复在文中提及的“信达雅”为例,用翻译目的论分析在译文接收者为英语母语者时如何对“信达雅”这一概念进行源语和目标语之间的转换,最后总结出对此类文本可采用的翻译策略。This paper is an analysis of the conversion between the source language and the target language in the Chinese-English translation of Yan Fu's Evolution and Ethics-Explanatory Notes on Translation from the perspective of the Skopos theory.The paper first discusses the difficulties that translators may encounter when translating this material with native English speakers as the recipients of the translations based on English-Chinese language comparison,and then takes"Xin Da Ya"mentioned by Yan Fu as an example to analyze how to transform the concept of"Xin Da Ya"between the source language and the target language from the perspective of Skopos theory.Lastly,it concludes the translation strategies that can be used for similar materials.
