摘　　要：以功能翻译理论为指导,通过一份真实的法律文本——某设备销售英文合同,从意义对等和形式对等两个方面,应用不同的翻译方法,探讨功能对等翻译在销售合同翻译中的适用性,从而指导此类文本的翻译实践。Guided by functionalist translation theory,the author intends to prove the applicability of the functional equivalence theory to sales contract translation by exploring how to realize meaning equivalence and style equivalence by different translation means through a true legal script-equipment sales contract so as to guide the translation practice of such texts.
