目的论视角下以人名为题的影视作品名称汉译研究

摘　　要：以人名为题的影视作品常见于西方影视界,其标题的汉译存在可接受性与忠实性取向的两难选择。在对以人名为题的西方影视作品的主要分类及特点进行分析的基础上,该文在目的论目的性原则和忠实性原则关照下,探讨影视作品题名翻译的基本原则,即目的性原则、忠实性原则、目的性与忠实性相结合的原则,进而用以对部分具有代表性的中文译名样本进行实例分析,并阐述目的论视角下以人名为题的影视作品名称的英汉翻译策略,冀望对相关翻译研究与实践形成一定启发。Lots of Western films and television works(FTW)are entitled with people's name,which leaves translators in the dilemma between following Skopos Rule and Fidelity Rule when translating the titles.On the basis of analyzing the main categories and features of the FTW entitled with people's name,this thesis discusses the basic principles in translating FTW title,namely the Skopos principle,the fidelity principle,and the Skopos-fidelity-combined principle,guided by Skopos Rule and Fidelity Rule in Skopos Theory,with further instance analysis on the selected representative Chinese translating samples,to explain the English-Chinese translation methods adopted in FTW title based on Skopos Theory,hoping to provide reference to the research and practice on relative translation.
