图里翻译准则视角下高罗佩《狄公案》翻译研究  

A Case Study on the Translation of Gulik’s Dee Goong An in the Tang Dynasty from the Perspective of the Toury’s Translation Norms

摘　　要：成功的翻译是中西方文化沟通和中国文化有效传播的桥梁。在大力实施中国文化“走出去”战略背景下,从图里的“翻译准则”论角度出发,对高罗佩成功译介中国公案小说《狄公案》的策略进行个案研究,发现高罗佩英译作《狄公案》在西方获得读者青睐的缘由主要有三个方面:准确把握中西侦探小说的不同特色进行成功的选材、直译与改写策略的灵活选择、力求使译文兼顾中国文化传播的需要与西方读者口味。这三个方面为翻译工作者成功翻译中国经典著作、传播中国优秀文化奠定了基础。The successful translation effectively bridges the gap between Eastern and Western cultures,as well as spreads the Chinese culture.Under the strategic background of promoting Chinese culture“going globally”,a case study was made on the translation of Gulik’s Dee Goong An in the Tang Dynasty from the perspective of the Toury’s Translation Norms.It is found there are mainly three reasons why Gulik’s English translation of Dee Goong An has gained the favor of many readers in the West:accurate grasping of different characteristics of Chinese and Western detective novels;flexible choices of the strategies on successful source text selection,literal translation and rewriting;the effort to keep balance between the Chinese culture dissemination and Western readers’taste.The abovementioned reasons lay the foundation for further successful translation of Chinese classics and dissemination of Chinese excellent culture.
