摘　　要：继续教育是学习型城市建设的基础。继续教育尤其是社区教育,面向广大基层群众,只有搞好继续教育工作,大力提高国民素质,才能加快学习型城市建设进程。天津作为国家职业教育改革创新示范区,职业教育与继续教育比翼齐飞。社区作为人民安居乐业的家园,社区教育不仅丰富了百姓生活,而且为人民群众树立积极正确的人生观、价值观。Continuing education is the foundation of learning city construction.Continuing education,especially community education,is oriented to the masses at the grass-roots level.Only by doing a good job of continuing education and vigorously improving the quality of the nation can we speed up the process of building learning cities.As a national demonstration area for the reform and innovation of vocational education,vocational education and continuing education fly side by side in Tianjin.The community is a home for people to live and work in peace and contentment.The community education not only enriches the lives of the people,but also sets up a positive and correct outlook on life and values for the people.
